Make Your Own Tornado

If you want to learn more about how a tornado works, you can make your own artificial twister, using simple materials you'll find around your house or at a local store. And don't worry, it's not at all dangerous.

You need a container to put your tornado in. An 8-ounce or larger jar with a lid will work great. You also need water, vinegar and some liquid dish soap. If you want to make the artificial twister easier to see, you also can use a pinch of glitter or food coloring.
